Combo mode can also be directly offered in a new building setup, both GPON and XG(S)PON ONU’s can be installed at the same time offering clients in the building internet at different price points according to there needs, but with the option to upgrade to a higher speed in the future. It is an ideal fit for high-bandwidth small to medium-scale scenarios such as upscale apartments, high-end SOHO and premium office, FTTx, and local building networks.
