The SNMP-24MGB Plus is a 24-port Gigabit L2+Managed Switch including 4-Port Gigabit TP/SFP combo slots and 20-Port Gigabit SFP slots. This Switch can be used to build high-performance switched workgroup networks. The switch can be managed through RS-232 serial port via directly connection, or through Ethernet port using CLI or Web-based management unit, associated with SNMP agent. In addition, the switch features comprehensive and useful functions such as QoS, Spanning Tree, VLAN, Port Trunking, Bandwidth Control, Port Security, SNMP/RMON, IGMP Snooping capability via the intelligent software. It is suitable for both metro-LAN and office applications. It also support two input source, 100~240VAC and -48VDC for Power redundancy application.

This switch support two power input 100~200V AC, and -48V DC. Each power input is capable of powering the entire switch. If one fails, the other power supply can keep the switch powered up seamless, so as not to interrupt the normal use of the device. The picture is an example of what a redundant power supply may look like.
The redundant power input is important for this type of switch , because this fiber switch normally work as the Core Switch for whole Internet. If the core switch is powered down, whole Internet will down.

What are “Save Start” and “Save User” in WebUI of SNMP-24MGB? What is their difference?
These two functions can save your configuration values on SNMP-24MGB, but their behaviors are different. When powering on or rebooting your SNMP-24MGB, the Switch will load the configuration values of “Save Start”. However, users can regard configuration file of “Save User” as backup functions. When users want to make different configuration values on SNMP-24MGB for testing, and still want to keep previous setting values. Users can use “Save User” to save your new configuration. After rebooting the Switch, the configuration will be back to configuration values of “Save Start”. If users want to use new configuration in some conditions, just click “Restore User” to restore the configuration values of “Save User”.
