WL-5450/5460AP Bootloader 1.4

Notice: Please update this bootloader only if you have uploaded firmware using the RS-232 port before, and your chipset's date code starts with "524C". The bootloader for WL-5460AP and WL-5450AP is different. Please do not use the wrong bootloader for the wrong model!

Upgrade Instruction:

Please do not use the wrong bootloader for the wrong model.

The "WL5460_bootlloader.16" is for WL-5460AP
The "WL5450_bootlloader.16" is for WL-5450AP

Before upgrading the bootloader image into the PCB.

please make sure that the RS232 cable has been connected with the demo board,
and the PC(connected with the demo board) should have a same subnet IP address with "192.168.1.6".

[upgrade firmware via TFTP]
1.open a hyperterminal window

2.hold the reset button and power the demo board. Until the Status LED has been turned off, release the reset button.

3.open a dos command window, and order the following command to upload firmware into the PCB.

For WL-5460AP:
tftp -i 192.168.1.6 put WL5460_bootloader.16
For WL-5450AP:
tftp -i 192.168.1.6 put WL5450_bootloader.16

4.system will write the bootloader image and reboot automatically, and then you can see the version of bootloader has been changed from v1.3 to v1.4.
