| Thin Indoor Cable |
| The RG-316SNM is a thin cable for connection between indoor AP and outdoor antenna. The cable has a male reversed SMA connector on one side to connect with AP and Male N-Type connector on the other side to connect with outdoor antenna. A connector typically has 0.3 dBi of signal loss, the combined signal loss of the 2 connectors and 30cm cable is about 1dBi. Therefore, a 10dBi patch antenna connected to AP using this cable still yield four times the signal strength of the standard 2dBi antenna. However, the antenna is not weather-proof; thus not suitable for outdoor use. |
